Presented by the Patriotic Fund at Lloyds to Lieutentant James Bowen, Royal Navy, of HMS Loire “who commanded one of her boats engaged in a daring and successful attack on the French National Brig Venteux”, close under the batteries of the Isle de Bas, on the 27th June 1803.

Okay, I mentioned in the previous phase posts I’d explain this one more in detail, so here we go.

This is basically a scene that occurs at the end of the first major new chapter of my project. Basically, in short terms, poor Andy was kidnapped by Sauron and Flora had to basically chase them down through portals to TWO other worlds: a 24th Century version of Earth and then Hell itself.

Lots of fighting/slaying of demons and archdemons occurred, but short story is that it lead to a climatic little battle between Flora and Sauron [the contents of Commission #3 are depicting the staredown between them before they started that final battle]. In the end, after a very long and attricious battle, she defeats and destroys Sauron, leaving behind his damaged helmet and one of his gauntlets, which she took as keepsakes [explaining why they’re on the table in the lower-right corner].

The sceptre from all the previous commissions, the centerpiece ‘tool’ of the project, lies by Flora on the ground, temporarily at rest after being at her hand for days of combat [as mentioned in the previous post, it has immense physical damage against enemies, so she was constantly bashing things with it], as well as being her ‘guide’ through the previous journey.

The Diaris Bow and a quiver of it’s arrows also lie to their left on the floor. The bow was shown in a previous showcase of pose images representing the second of the seven commissions. It also served Flora well as a sniper’s weapon, being of critical weakness to most of the demonic foes she had to fight in the quest to rescue Andy.

And now the final object, and the one I assume people have had some WTF/WTH-style questions about: the pistol on the upper-left counter; The pistol is more of a keepsake of two other friends Flora met on Earth during the first half of her epic journey. Both of them were military combatants who had in the past faced the same demons she was in their own mission to stop Sauron and then again in the present when his forces invaded Earth.

Shortly after meeting with Flora and hearing her story, one of them decided to pass on his pistol to her for extra protection in case a situation would come where her magic and other arsenal might not be available. It only had a single clip in it, which was long since expended and tossed. It now exists simply to remind her of the two people who were able to help her when she needed it the most, as she had been fighting it alone before meeting both of them, and then having to seperate from them again before entering Hell for what she preceived was their protection. Perhaps she will meet these two again someday…

Dragon Quest Monsters: Terry’s Wonderland had a remake for 3DS last year. Now, Square Enix has registered “Iru to Ruca no Fushigi na Fushigi na Kagi”.

According to Game Jouhou, this trademark translates to “Iru and Luca’s Wonderful Mysterious Keys” and could be pointing to a “Dragon Quest Monsters 2” remake for Nintendo 3DS.
